BJD Baby Hujoo Faceup Tutorial

I have been meaning to upload my hujoo doll faceup for a while
One of my hobbies BJD ( ball jointed dolls)  dolls ,
this is my little hujoo dollie "Carole Anne"
Shes not made out of resin
which made me comfortable painting her and experimenting
in general i like simple makeup and found pastels with a touch of acrylic paint for
eyeliner for the eyes worked best for me ,i took some pics when i was working on her
for this little simple walk through
i applied  soft pastels with my paint brushes, on her cheeks a bit on her nose, chin,i removed her eyes when i did this
then applied black acrylic eyeliner on her inside upper eyelid , once everything dried
i put back the eyes with eye putty helps keep them in place,i also applied some gloss varnish on
her lips dont think it was captured much on my camera but she looked really cute once she was all finished.
I didn't have eyelashes to add but on baby hujoos their eyes are so small
dont think they are necessary , but wouldnt mind trying them on one day
Sealing is optional but highly recommended.

Let me tell you whoever thinks it's easy painting on dolls ,its not
its very hard ,
but practice makes perfect, i can easily get into this if i devoted more time
but i'm just too busy with my drawings/art plus i'm not one to keep messing
with her looks , luckily being an artist i can give her face on paper many different looks
but it was fun trying this , love creating my own characters and customizing them the way i want
