One look at marias art and you can see why i love her art so much, it's
beautiful,inspirational and creative plus she works with pencils
which i love

I was so happy when maria gave me the green light to use one
of her beautiful personal photos to draw her,i always wanted to
draw a geisha and i loved marias asian make-up and dress in
her photo and i had inspiration and ideas right away what to do
especially with the background .


I have been working on this portrait for weeks between moving
and just late last night finished the background and butterflies
