I did this artwork for my submission for the Imagine 2006 fantasy artbook,
i literally got this image /idea to do this when i was listening one night (when i couldn't fall asleep) to john lennon's song 'Imagine' i woke up the next morning with the image of a child holding the earth/globe and just sketched roughly,i send my sketch to good and loving friend Jenni Mills

knowing she takes requests for her beautiful stock gallery

i asked if she can have analeese her beautiful little girl pose for me for what i had in mind to do artwise...and she did a beautiful job not only one pic but she did an entire series based on what i wanted and i had the perfect little model to work from
And if anyone is looking out there for good childrens quality stock you should check out jeni's stock she does an incredible job .

I wanted to do something simple sweet pure innocent but with a message as well,
there is so much negatvity in the world in every aspect and having recently experienced some in the artworld as well i just wanted to do something that said ... there is enough room and space for everyone in the world!....and i think a child can get that message across more than anyone.

Artwise i did this with colored pencils and some pastels mostly used for the background,my Mom told me i should be doing more colored artworks,she told me this was one of her favorites.... i have to listent to MOM..lol and will be doing more colored artworks in the future
