"Once upon a dream"

12 x 9 color pencils

Sleeping beauty as a fairy.

Took me while to finish this, the flowers alone took me about a week,very time consuming, but i like the details and vibrant colors i can achieve with color pencil , i posted a work in progress pic of this artwork in my sketches folder

The stock reference model was from DA many years ago when i first joined , sadly i cant find her page , dont know if they are still part of DA or not but if anyone knows please let me know thank you so much :)

(i'm greek orthodox in faith) and it will be interesting i'm trying to find

Katerina ~ You have so many wonderful drawings but I think this one is my favorite. The colors are so vivid. The details so exquisite. I especially love the layers of color in her skintones. I think I can count at lease nine in her face alone. Truly a stunning work of colored pencil art. :^)
