The Raven is based on the fairytale of Brother's Grimm

The story of A queen wishing her naughty daughter would turn into a raven and fly away, so she could have some peace, and her wish was instantly fulfilled.

I did something i wanted to try for a while,which was oils and this is my first time using it in my paintings

used it in small doses with my acrylics and pencils and loved it

went a bit bold with my color choices i think didn't want to use all dark coloring for this and added some blues to balance everything.

it amazes me the way you seem to fit perfectly so many details into such a tiny card

I really like this drawing, the crown looks very nice and the mask, even if not intentionally, gives the idea of some previous feathers she had as human, like it it was the connection to being a crown
