I'm so tired of cold and snow and i needed to do draw/paint something springly and with st patrick's day coming up i went with a very green theme and ofcourse red hair

Completed with watercolours and colored pencils on 8'5x10'5 hotpress Arches watercolor paper.
I just used watercolors for the basic layers and background and went over the painting once it was dried really well with colored pencils,it made the colors more vibrant, i also used some white gouache (sorry if i spelled it wrong) on the flower and butterflies, my scanner however made the background a bit more yellow and colorful .

The dress took me forever it seems,but overall i'm happy with it
